Overview
Arriveo provides SMS notifications to keep you informed about your deliveries and account activity. This policy explains how we use text messaging, how you consent to receive messages, and how you can control your messaging preferences.
For Arriveo Business Partners
If you are a business using Arriveo's platform, you must ensure your customers consent to receive SMS notifications before providing their phone numbers to Arriveo.
Required Disclosure
Your Privacy Policy or Terms of Service must include language that informs customers they will receive SMS notifications for their deliveries or service visits. Below is sample verbiage you can adapt for your business:

SMS Delivery Notifications: By providing your mobile phone number and placing an order for delivery or scheduling a service visit, you consent to receive SMS text message notifications about your delivery or appointment. These messages are sent via our delivery partner, Arriveo, and may include driver information, estimated arrival times, and real-time tracking links. Message frequency varies (typically 1-5 messages per delivery/visit). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Checkout/Order Form Language
Additionally, we recommend including a notice on your checkout page or order form near the phone number field:

Who Receives Messages from Arriveo?
Arriveo sends text messages to two types of users:
1. Customers Receiving Deliveries
If you've placed an order with a business that uses Arriveo for deliveries, you may receive text notifications about your order.
How It Works:
- When you place an order, the business collects your phone number
- Arriveo sends you a message asking if you'd like delivery updates
- You must reply YES to receive updates about your delivery
- Only after you reply YES will you get notifications with driver information and tracking links
What You'll Receive:
- Delivery confirmation and estimated arrival time
- Driver name and real-time tracking link
- Updates when your driver is nearby
- Delivery completion notification
2. Delivery Drivers
If you sign up as a driver on the Arriveo platform, you'll receive account and delivery-related messages.
How It Works:
- You provide your phone number during driver registration
- By completing registration, you consent to receive SMS notifications
- You acknowledge this SMS Policy and our Privacy Policy

- Account setup and login information
- Delivery assignment notifications
- Platform updates and important announcements
- Account-related alerts
Your Consent
For Customers:
Explicit Opt-In Required
- Initial Contact: When you place an order, Arriveo sends one initial message asking for your consent
- You Control Notifications: You must reply YES to receive delivery updates
- No Spam: We only send messages related to your active deliveries
- Business Responsibility: The business you ordered from is required to only share phone numbers of customers who have agreed to receive delivery notifications
For Drivers:
By providing your phone number during registration, you consent to receive account and delivery-related messages. These messages are necessary for platform operation and delivery coordination.

Here are examples of messages you might receive:
Initial Consent Request:
"Arriveo: You have an order from Joe's Pizza on the way. Reply YES to get delivery updates with driver info and tracking. Msg&data rates may apply."
After You Reply YES:
"Arriveo: Thanks! Mike is delivering your Joe's Pizza order now. ETA 15 min. Track: arriveo.com/track/123 Reply STOP to opt out."
"Arriveo: Mike is 5 minutes away with your Joe's Pizza order! Track live: arriveo.com/track/123 STOP to opt out"

Message Frequency
Customers:
- 1-5 messages per delivery depending on delivery duration and your order
- Messages are sent only for active deliveries you've opted in to receive
- No recurring messages or promotional content
Drivers:
- Varies based on your delivery activity and account needs
- Typically 1-10 messages per day depending on assignments
How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying with any of these keywords:
Opt-Out Keywords:

What Happens When You Opt Out:
- Your opt-out is processed immediately
- You'll receive one final confirmation message
- You won't receive any future messages from Arriveo
- Your preference is saved in our system

Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Arriveo does not charge for messages, but your carrier may.

Privacy & Data Protection
We never sell your phone number to third parties. Your phone number is used solely for delivery notifications and account management.
- Messages may contain order details, driver information, and tracking links
- We do not sell or share your number with marketers
- We do not use it for promotional messaging

Important Security Note
SMS is not encrypted. Do not reply with sensitive information like passwords or payment details.
